Booking and Service Terms
SAMI Traditional Chinese Medicine Wellness Centre
These Booking and Service Terms (hereinafter – the “Terms”) govern the procedure for booking services provided by the SAMI Wellness Centre (hereinafter – the “Centre”), as well as the provision of such services.
By using the website www.sami.lv, submitting a consultation request, or booking wellness procedures, the client confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.
1. General Provisions
These Terms regulate the relationship between the Centre and its clients regarding the booking, reservation, and receipt of services offered by the Centre.
Services are provided in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the applicable legislation of the European Union.

3. Nature of Services Provided
The Centre provides services aimed at supporting general well-being, relaxation, restoring balance, and improving quality of life.
The Centre's services do not constitute:
- medical care;
- medical diagnosis;
- treatment of diseases;
- a substitute for a physician’s consultation;
- a substitute for professional medical assistance.
Information provided by the Centre's specialists is intended solely for informational and wellness purposes.
4. Booking Procedure
Bookings may be made:
- through the booking form on the website;
- by telephone;
- by e-mail;
- through other communication channels indicated on the website.
A booking is considered confirmed only after confirmation has been received from the Centre.
The Centre reserves the right to clarify booking details before final confirmation.
5. Client Obligations
The client undertakes to:
- provide accurate information;
- promptly notify the Centre of changes to contact details;
- arrive for appointments at the agreed time;
- inform the specialist of any circumstances that may affect the safe provision of services;
- comply with the Centre’s internal rules and conduct requirements.
The client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
6. Late Arrival and Non-Attendance
If a client is more than 15 minutes late, the Centre may:
- shorten the duration of the service;
- reschedule the appointment;
- cancel the appointment.
If the client is unable to attend, they are encouraged to notify the Centre at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
7. Changes or Cancellation of Appointments
The Centre may change the date or time of an appointment due to:
- illness of a specialist;
- technical reasons;
- force majeure circumstances;
- other objective reasons.
In such cases, the client will be offered an alternative appointment time.
8. Service Fees and Payment
Service fees are indicated on the website or communicated to the client before booking confirmation.
Payment may be made by:
- cash;
- bank card;
- bank transfer;
- other payment methods available at the Centre.
Prices may be changed without prior notice.
For confirmed appointments, the price applicable at the time of booking confirmation shall apply.
9. Gift Certificates and Membership Plans
If the Centre offers gift certificates or membership plans, their use shall be governed by separate terms and conditions.
The validity period of a gift certificate shall be specified at the time of purchase.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Centre shall not be liable for consequences resulting from:
- the provision of inaccurate information by the client;
- concealment of relevant health-related information;
- failure to follow recommendations provided by specialists;
- independent decisions made based on information received from the Centre.
The Centre does not guarantee any specific outcome from its services, as results depend on the individual characteristics of each client.
11. Personal Data
Clients’ personal data are processed in accordance with:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR);
- the legislation of the Republic of Latvia;
- the Centre’s Privacy Policy.

12. Force Majeure
The Centre shall not be liable for the inability to provide services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
- natural disasters;
- accidents;
- communication failures;
- decisions of public authorities;
- epidemics;
- other extraordinary circumstances.
13. Dispute Resolution
The parties shall seek to resolve any disputes and disagreements through negotiations.
If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
14. Amendments to the Terms
The Centre reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
